DRESS SENSE

An incident transpired when one of the greatest boxers of all time, Late Muhammad Ali daughters arrived at his home wearing cloths that were quite revealing and a bit exposed. Here is the story as told by one of his daughters.

When we finally arrived, the driver escorted my younger sister Laila and me up to my father's lodge as usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day. My father took a good look at us then he sat me down on his lap and said something that i will never forget in my life. He looked at me straight in the eyes and said, "Hana, everything that God made valuable in these world is covered and hard to get too. Where do you find find Diamonds? Deep down in the ground covered and protected. Where do do you find Pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean covered and protected in a beautiful Shell. Where do you find Gold? Way down the mine, covered with layers and layers of rock, you have to work hard to get it. He looked at me with serious eyes and he said " your body is sacred, you are far more precious than diamonds, gold and pearls and you should be covered too.

PAUSE:
Generally a lot of people believe fashion is the kind of clothing you put on but fashion today, is equivocal because it does not literally have one clear or definite meaning and fashion has been understood in more than one way.

In our present society today, fashion has been misconcepted to a large extent. These present days, you see women wearing sloppy cloths that reveals their butts and cleavages, indirectly women go as far as seducing men with the kind of cloths they put on.

As the saying goes thus: The way you dress determines how you will be address, that simply means the kind of cloths you put on is directly proportional to how you want people to see you, that is to say, your dress sense and fashion ethics are like loud speakers that broadcast your inner thoughts. At these point in time, permit me to say civilisation has had a bit of a negative effect on the outer appearance of women.YES because these days you go by the street and you definitely going to see ladies walking half nude all in the name of fashion.

Our Women should stop unveiling their sacred body and leave something to the imagination of men. If your clothing is well arranged and modest, it will send a very positive message but if your clothing is seductive and provocative, the message will be loud and clear because when men sees a lady who puts on a revealing or sloppy cloths, it tells that she is desperate for attention.

On a final note, fashion today should be in conformity with the tenets and ideas of the modern moralist view because i believe your DRESS SENSE is a product of what you so much believe about your self.
