THE COMMISSIONING OF THE
MONUMENT PROJECT
The programme which was held on the 24th of May, 2017 started officially with the National Anthem, Introduction of guest was done by M.C Mirinda. The Principal officers present were; The Rector, M.O Oladeji, Deputy Rector, TPL. F.M. Alabi, Registrar, A.O Ojewole, Bursar, S.A. Tijani, Chief Librarian, O.A. Osunrinade. Other TOPS Officers were ; Dean Student Affairs, Dean SES, Dean of SENG, P.A Rector, HOD of Accountancy Department, HOD of Public Administration Department and HOD of Business Administration Department and other officers. Also in attendance was Stanbic Bank Business Manager, Mr. Amosa.
The P.A Rector gave the welcoming speech, He welcomed the management of TOPS, other Officers and the corps member.
One of the Corper named Joseph Chiadika delivered his speech, firstly he apreciated the Management of TOPS and other officers for their support and kindness. In his speech, he declared that the Monument Project was executed by NYSC 2016 BATCH A and its vision is "Promotion of Excellence, Transformation of lives and enhancement of Self Sustenance". In addition, the Corper mentioned that part of the funds raised has also been used for a directional Sign Post in Saki Town.
The Rector delivered his speech, He praised the corps members for their excellent performance and creative team work. In the Rector's speech, he announced that in few years Mass Communication will be offered in The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic Saki.
Shortly after the Rector's Speech, The Monument project which was executed by the NYSC 2016 BATCH A, was Commissioned by the Rector on the 24th of May, 2017. Corper Judith Orogun gave the Vote of Thanks. The programme ended officially with the National Anthem after couples of Picture.
