It was evening time and a man was walking home with his son. They were crossing the street when his wallet dropped. While he stopped to pick it, the little boy ran across the street.
A car that was coming knocked the little boy down but instead of stopping the driver sped off. The father stood there shouting at the driver and screaming at him to stop and strangely when that failed he started chasing after the car. Truly he met up with the driver at the police barrier. The driver was just pleading and saying he was sorry and that he did not see the little boy and he was afraid that people around may lynch him and that is why he had sped off to the police.
The police asked the father where the little boy was and the father told them he was at the accident site. They got back in the driver’s car and drove off to the accident site but the boy was not there. Some people around there said a car had picked up the boy and sent him towards the hospital. At the hospital the doctors examined the little boy and did all they could and at the end they declared that had the boy been brought a little bit earlier he could have lived. The question that goes through my mind is: Who killed the little boy?
Many of us in situations and circumstances of life chase after judgment, vengeance, complaints, excuses and condemnation instead of striving hard to pursue our vision, purpose and passion that will lead to salvation and restoration. Why do you always stop to answer your critic?
Many have lost precious things including their very own souls because they sought vengeance for slander, rumors and evils done to them instead of pursuing the purpose of God for their lives and leaving all else to God.
