Reports emerged on Thursday May 26 that Manchester United have appointed Jose Mourinho as manager of the club after months of speculation. Manchester United paid the Portuguese tactician a staggering £4million to reject the advances of any club looking to his services. Mourinho is expected to be given £200m to spend on new players. And Willian, who Mourinho signed from Anzhi Makhachkala for £30million, has sensationally left the door ajar for a potential reunion with his former boss. “Winning the Premier League with him was one of the highlights of my career. I was sad things didn’t work out after that,” he said. After several months of speculation, Manchester United finally confirmed the appointment of the tactician.
