UTME at Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igbo-Ora, Oyo State has been delayed due to power failure.
The candidates who got to the exam centre very early today were disappointed when their exam was delayed.
The delay was caused by inadequate power supply by Electricity company in the State and also poor planning.
According to a candidate from the centre “I’ve been here since morning because my exam was scheduled for 7 am, but we have not been able to write the exam as the light was not stable.”
Another candidate who spoke with our correspondent said “My exam was slated for 8 am but since we came in we’ve not been able to sit for the exam due to power failure”
“The school generator is not in good shape as well but the JAMB officials here are trying to put things in place” she added
It was gathered that the first two batches have not been able to sit for the exam.
The first batch was scheduled for 7 a.m, while the second batch was for 9 a.m and 1 pm for the third bacth.
Meanwhile, JAMB has started releasing results for the 2017 UTME that started on 13th May, 2017.
