Did you know that getting better skin can be as simple as adjusting your diet?
If you didn’t know that, then listed below as six foods you need to eat on a regular basis to get a glowing skin.
Apples: Apples may have ruined Adam’s entire life, and they may have caused Snow White to collapse. But apples are actually really good for your skin. Apples are rich in vitamin C, which is responsible for giving your skin that radiance it’s missing at the moment. Vitamin C also slows down the ageing process, but to reap the most benefits from it, you need to eat an apple each day.
Red Bell Peppers: If you regularly make stir fries, you probably already get your fair share of red bell peppers. If you don’t, it’s time to add them to your diet. Why? Because the red bell pepper is high in vitamin C. In fact, it has much of this skin-enhancing vitamin than oranges.
Bananas: Because they contain potassium, bananas do a fab job at promoting healthier-looking skin.
Beetroots: Despite looking so flamboyant and screaming “come and eat me!” in the supermarket, the beetroot remains one of the most overlooked vegetables in our aisles. I’m never quite sure why – it looks amazing, tastes amazing, and has so many amazing health benefits, too.
Lemons: Lemons contain natural bleach which isn’t harmful. In fact, it has skin-boosting benefits. If your skin is looking less than perfect right now, thanks to acne and acne scars, gently rubbing lemon onto any affected areas a few times a week will clear your blemishes right up.
Avocado: Avocado is probably the worlds most popular fruit right now. Your best friend is spreading it onto toast, your mom is adding it to sandwiches, and your dad is trying to work out how to cut it up.
