The protest was witnessed by various security agencies in the state and different reputable media stations in the state.
We use this medium to appreciate the unequal support of all radical displayed by the leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students, National Youth Congress, FOSSU national level, Akinyele Youth leaders, and all the students Union leaders in attendance.(FSS, POLYIB, IBARAPAPOLY, FCAH&PT, amidst gross of others).
We extend our appreciation to all the students of our dear institution for the trust, unity and support displayed today, which is an evidence of a greater expectation of development for the union as we heartily believe unity as the bedrock of development that we aimed for the institution.
Today protest experienced a greater turn out of protesters as the street of Ibadan was stormed by thousands of protesters demanding justice for our bereaved member which ascertained a greater hope of justice soon.
We use this moment to reassure TOPSSITES that this administration will not turn back neither we will ever back out until justice is served against the injustice.
As today massive protest is to publicly demonstrate the union grievances against the gruesome act, a lot of measures have already been put in place which we have been exercising to demand justice for late Ms Grace Oshiagwu.
Also we are using the avenue to urge all TOPSSITES to be security conscious and prayerful to avert premature death in the society and the country at large.
The union will soon start exercising all our measures in containing and curtailing the issue of rape case on and off the campus environment.
We will forever applauds your support in the future determinations of the union as we will continue to update you on the future development of the union..
